Tyler Reddick: Engine Failure at Talladega
Reddick suffered an engine failure and finished 39th in the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Reddick's day would turn south way too soon in this 500-mile battle. He would report trouble with the engine in his No. 8 Chevrolet before the end of the first stage. Reddick would bring his car to pit road and the hood would go up. After a brief inspection, a serious problem was discovered and Reddick would be finished for the day with engine trouble. It was his third DNF of the season.
