Ryan Blaney: FIfth-Place at Bristol
Blaney finished fifth in the Food City Dirt Race NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday night.
Analysis:
It would be no easy task for Blaney Sunday night at Bristol Motor Speedway. He would start 25th on the grid and have to fight for every square inch of dirt he could gain. Blaney would break into the back-end of the Top 10 by the end of stage 1 and battle around there the rest of the night. The driver of the No. 22 Ford would make some track position gains during the final stage and race to a impressive fifth-place finish by the checkered flag. Blaney remains second in the overall points after his fourth Top-5 finish of the season.
