Justin Allgaier: Cup Start on Bristol Dirt
Spire Motorsports announced NASCAR Xfinity Series veteran and current championship contender Allgaier will drive the team's No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Analysis:
Since the Xfinity Series is not competing this weekend at Bristol, Allgaier will make a Cup Series start for Spire Motorsports in the Bristol dirt race. He will bring over his Xfinity Series sponsor, Brandt, to the No. 77 Chevrolet for this event. This will be Allgaier's first Cup Series start of the season.
