Justin Allgaier: Third at COTA
Allgaier finished third in the Pit Boss 250 Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas Saturday afternoon.
Analysis:
The veteran JR Motorsports driver stayed on his recent roll Saturday at Circuit of the Americas. Allgaier led 3 laps for the day and raced among the Top 10 for the entire event. He didn't have the speed to chase down Kyle Busch, but would keep him within sight down the stretch. Allgaier would hold off Kevin Harvick over the closing laps to secure the impressive third-place finish. It was his fourth Top 5 of the season and extended his current Top-5 streak to three races.
