William Byron: Starting from rear Sunday
Byron will start from the rear for Sunday's Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway after his No. 24 Chevrolet failed inspection twice with tech failures, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis:
Byron is coming into Sunday off back-to-back top-10 finishes including a victorious effort at the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Feb. 28. The 23-year-old will have his work cut out for him starting from the rear as it will be tough to navigate a quality finish with an undesirable starting position.
