Ryan Blaney: Fifth-Place at Charlotte Roval
Blaney finished fifth in the Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 12 Ford had quite an eventful day at the Roval. Blaney charged from 24th starting spot on the grid to finish seventh in stage 1, and go on to win stage 2. The young driver would lead 14 total laps of the challenging Roval circuit. Blaney would hold off William Byron over the final laps to capture a strong fifth-place finish in the Bank of America Roval 400. It was his ninth Top-5 finish of the season.
