William Byron: Top-5 Finish in YellaWood 500
Byron finished fourth in the YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet would start deep in the field. However, Byron would rally to inside the Top 10 by the end of stage 2. His Chevrolet Camaro was a fast machine and Byron used it smartly in the closing laps. Byron would be forced below the double yellow line by Matt DiBenedetto coming to the finish, but would suffer no penalty for the maneuver. He would be credited with a strong fourth-place finish after the third and final overtime restart. It was Byron's fourth Top-5 finish of the season.
