Daniel Hemric: Third in Alsco 300
Hemric finished third in the Alsco 300 Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 8 Chevy made it a 2-3-4 finish for JR Motorsports at Las Vegas. Hemric started 14th on the grid and raced to an eighth-place finish to end stage 1. From there he'd be a Top-10 driver the rest of the night in the Alsco 300. A late caution would set up a nine-lap sprint to the finish and Hemric would hold off Justin Allgaier to claim the impressive third-place finish. It was his fourth Top 5 of the season.
