Daniel Suarez: Leaving Gaunt Brothers Racing
The Associated Press' Jenna Fryer reports that Suarez and Gaunt Brothers Racing will split at the end of this season.
Analysis:
It's been a tough season for Suarez and his new race team. With no Top-10 finishes to this point in the season and coming into Bristol weekend 31st in the championship points, things have been lean for the No. 96 team. Suarez made some comments earlier in the week that indicate he is looking for a more competitive Cup Series ride for 2021. It looks like he'll be entering the free agent market and will soon find out.
