Ross Chastain: Runner-up Finish at Dover
Chastain finished second in Sunday's Drydene 200 Xfinity Series race at Dover International Speedway.
Analysis:
The Kaulig Racing veteran would prove to be Chase Briscoe biggest competition on the track Sunday at the Monster Mile. Chastain led 24 laps and captured the stage 1 win. From there, he'd pursue the No. 98 Ford around the one-mile Delaware oval for the rest of the afternoon. The final run to the finish would see Chastain fall 2.4-seconds short of the win, but it was still a strong runner-up finish for the veteran. It was Chastain's ninth Top-5 finish of the season.
