Chris Buescher: Pole for Consumers Energy 400
Buescher will start from the pole for the Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
NASCAR is inverting each half of the field from Saturday's race to set the grid for Sunday's race at Michigan. As the 20th-place finisher in Saturday's FireKeepers Casino 400, Buescher will get to roll off first Sunday in the second race of the doubleheader. The JTG Daugherty Racing veteran will hope to challenge the Top 15 Sunday at the Michigan oval.
