Blaney will start from the Busch pole for the Lilly Diabetes 250 Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after NASCAR was forced to cancel the qualifying session due to rain.
Analysis:
Rain has wreaked havoc with the NASCAR race weekend in Indianapolis. Both Friday, and now Saturday's track activities have been cancelled by the weather. Blaney sits in the No. 22 Penske Racing Ford, which happens to be atop the owner point standings. He will roll off first as a result when racing action takes place at the Brickyard. Right now, NASCAR has scheduled the Lilly Diabetes 250 for Monday at 10 AM. Blaney will contend for the win at this historic oval.
