NASCAR providing full-length race replays on YouTube
NASCAR announced Tuesday it will feature complete race replays on its official YouTube channel after collaborating with the video-sharing site.
The videos will be available to race fans each Tuesday following Sprint Cup Series races. No word yet on plans for the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series.
“Enhancing the fan experience through NASCAR’s digital properties is at the core of everything we do, and providing free, full-length race replays on YouTube gives our fans another easy way to interact with the sport,” Colin Smith, managing director of NASCAR Digital Media, said via press release.
NASCAR began uploading full-length races to its YouTube account at the beginning of August, but never publicly promoted it.
“Having full NASCAR races on YouTube for the first time will be a big win for fans around the world, letting them watch anywhere on any device,” YouTube’s Global Head of Sports Partnerships, Claude Ruibal, said. “On YouTube, NASCAR Digital Media is now able to connect even more of their fans with the sport they love.”
