Briscoe moving to SportsCenter at end of NASCAR season
With ESPN leaving NASCAR at the end of the season, there’ll be plenty of announcements coming down in the next few months as to which personalities at the network are moving to different positions.
The first news broke this morning, regarding NASCAR Countdown host Nicole Briscoe.
Briscoe, who joined ESPN in 2008 will become a SportsCenter anchor effective January 2015, and will also take on additional new assignments in the new year.
“I’m very happy with the opportunities that have been presented to me,” said Briscoe via press release. “ESPN is where I want to be, and I’m excited about starting the next chapter of my career as well as a new adventure for my family. But first, we still have 15 weeks of NASCAR to go and champions to crown.”
It was announced earlier this year that Allen Bestwick will be moving over to the NBC broadcast booth for their IndyCar coverage. No other announcements have been made as of yet.
