Sprint Showdown & All-Star Race: Entry list, TV schedule & track info

It’s All-Star Weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series, with the Sprint Showdown happening on Friday evening, and the Sprint All-Star Race on Saturday night. 22 cars will race in the All-Star race, but only 19 spots have been determined so far. Spot #20 will go to the Sprint Showdown Winner, Spot #21 will go to the 2nd place finisher in the Sprint Showdown, and the 22nd and final spot will go to the Sprint Fan Vote Winner.
There are a number of ways to get into the Sprint-All Star Race:
- Drivers who have won races in the current and preceding year. If a driver leaves a team with which he has won a race, he remains eligible (through the last race before The All-Star Race), the team does NOT
- Drivers who are past Sprint Cup champions in the last 10 years
- Drivers who have won The All-Star Race in the past 10 years
- The winning driver of the Sprint Showdown
- Driver who finishes 2nd in the Sprint Showdown
- Driver voted in by the fans
23 cars will attempt to take the final 3 spots on Friday night. Here’s all the info you need to know:

- 12:05 – 1:40pm: Sprint Showdown final practice (FOX Sports 1)
- 1:50 – 3:15pm: Sprint All-Star Race final practice (FOX Sports 1)
- 4:10pm: Sprint Showdown qualifying (FOX Sports 1)
- 7:15pm: Sprint Showdown (FOX Sports 1)
Saturday, May 17th, 2014:
- 7:10pm: Sprint All-Star Race qualifying (FOX Sports 1)
- 9:00pm: Sprint All-Star Race (FOX Sports 1)
