Van Gisbergen was fastest in Happy Hour practice for The Loop 110 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Chicago Street Course on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 86.720 mph.

Analysis:

The session would turn into a duel between van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch to see who could top the scoring pylon by the end. The Kiwi would come out on top and just edge the driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet to lead this lone practice ahead of pole qualifying. Van Gisbergen is an Xfinity Series winner on this Chicago Street Course and will be tough to beat Saturday in The Loop 110.
