Tyler Reddick: Wins GEICO 500
Reddick won the GEICO 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Reddick was a Top-10 driver all afternoon in this superspeedway battle. He would take the lead for the first time at lap 159 and he would be a major factor from that point forward. The 23XI Racing star would be leading at the white flag, but Michael McDowell would take the lead on the last lap before a tangle with Brad Keselowski would send him into a multi-car crash. Reddick would retake the lead during this mayhem and collect the checkered flag. It was his first win of the season and sixth-career victory.
