AJ Allmendinger: Wins BL Transport 170

Allmendinger won the B&L Transport 170 Xfinity Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Kaulig Racing veteran overcame a late-race pit road penalty to rally back to the front at Mid-Ohio. Allmendinger used a late caution and restart to pull off a circus-stunt 3-wide pass of Ty Gibbs and Austin Cindric to get the lead. From there, Allmendinger would cruise the final 4 laps to take the checkered flag. It was his second win of the season and seventh-career victory.
