Matt Kenseth was docked 15 points while crew chief Jason Ratcliff was fined $25,000 after the No. 20 Toyota failed a post-race inspection following Sunday's win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Kenseth's vehicle was deemed out of compliance after it failed NASCAR's laser inspection. The inspection measures wheel cambers and bases, in addition to axle location. It was not specified which measurements Kenseth violated.
The 15 points will be deducted in the Spring Cup drivers' standings, dropping Kenseth from eighth to nine place.
