NASCAR driver Mike Wallace, daughter attacked after concert
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - NASCAR driver Mike Wallace says he and his daughter were attacked after a Rascal Flatts concert in North Carolina.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told local media three men have been arrested after the attack Friday night at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte.
Wallace said three men he had never met punched and kicked him and also attacked his daughter Lindsey.
Wallace says three front teeth were knocked a few inches into his mouth and he has a black eye that is causing impaired vision. He also said he had 10 stitches in his lip.
Police said 29-year-old Paul Lucas and 22-year-old Nathan Lucas of Indian Trail are charged with simple assault. Twenty-four-year-old Randolph Mangum of Monroe is charged with assault on a female.
It was not clear whether they have attorneys.
