UFC 196 prelim winner Ishihara is a fighter ... but only because he's a lover
Teruto Ishihara had the honor opening UFC 196 and he capitalized on the opportunity with a knockout win of Julian Erosa and a memorable post-fight exclamation.
"I love you, my bitches!" Ishihara yelled to the crowd at the end of his in-cage interview with Joe Rogan.
If there was any question to his meaning, the 24-year-old Japanese featherweight used a post-fight scrum to clarify what his goals were when he decided to become a professional mixed martial artist.
"I want to fight at an event where there's a lot of girls. That's why I started fighting," Ishihara said through a translator. "That's really the reason why I started fighting, because I wanted to get more girls. I believe that UFC 200 is a great stage for me to show my skills in front of the ladies."
Ishihara didn't say who he wanted to fight next, only that he was aiming to get on the UFC 200 card to impress as many female fans as possible.
"As long as I can KO someone and get girls, I'll do it all day."
