McGregor channels 'El Chapo' at UFC 197 press conference
Forget "Notorious" and "Mystic Mac," Conor McGregor might have found himself a new nickname.
The UFC featherweight champion showed up at a press conference to promote UFC 197 dressed in a designer shirt reminiscent of that of recently arrested drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
The resemblance might have been intentional, as he appeared to try to replicate an infamous photo featuring Guzman and actor Sean Penn during a post-press conference photo opportunity with lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.

"I'm dressed like 'El Chapo' in his prime," said McGregor at the press conference. "I'm running this company like half a wise guy. I'm up here verbally destroying (Dos Anjos). I am a multi-cultured individual and I am in here doing whatever I want."
