Conor McGregor inks endorsement deal with BSN
UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor is the latest athlete to join Team BSN.
McGregor, who has endorsement deals with Reebok, Bud Light, and Monster Energy drinks, is only the second MMA athlete to ink a deal with the sports nutrition and supplement company, joining former UFC champion Vitor Belfort.
"I take my nutrition very, very seriously. You can't cut corners in this game. You must align yourself with the best in each field, and that is what I have done. BSN® is leading the way in nutrition and supplementation," McGregor said in a statement, according to FOX Sports' Damon Martin. "They are breaking barriers in their field and I am breaking barriers in my field. It's a partnership."
McGregor will look to remove the "interim" tag from his title when he takes on longtime champion Jose Aldo in the hotly-anticipated main event of UFC 194 on Dec. 12.
