Report: Mirsad Bektic out of TUF 22 bout vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri
It appears the injury bug took a chunk out of this month's TUF 22 Finale.
Mirsad Bektic was forced to pull out of his upcoming featherweight bout against Tatsuya Kawajiri on the Dec. 11 card, according to multiple reports.
Details surrounding Bektic's injury haven't yet been made public, nor has it been announced if Kawajiri will be given a short-notice replacement.
The undefeated 24-year-old has racked up three straight victories since making his Octagon debut in 2014, notching a pair of decision wins over Chas Skelly and Paul Redmond, before violently polishing off Lucas Martins via TKO.
The TUF 22 Finale takes place on Dec. 11 in Las Vegas, and features a featherweight clash between Frankie Edgar and Chad Mendes as the main event.
