Responding to a fan on Twitter, former lightweight contender Gray Maynard revealed his plans to move to the featherweight division, BloodyElbow.com's Nick Baldwin reports.
Yes sir. It'll be at 145 tho https://t.co/JNZpHgu6Ue

The 36-year-old has fought a whopping 16 times for the UFC, all at 155 pounds. He is most well-known for his trilogy with Frankie Edgar.
The change might seem drastic for a fighter known for being one of the larger lightweights, but Maynard hasn't had much luck in the division lately, picking up just one win since 2011.
No date or opponent has been announced for Maynard's return.
