UFC flew chef to Rio to make Ronda Rousey hot wings
What Ronda Rousey wants, Ronda Rousey gets.
The UFC women's bantamweight champion told Self magazine that she loves to celebrate her victories with some hot wings, and the promotion is happy to oblige by flying out a private chef to appease her appetite.
"I eat about 50 hot wings. I love hot wings," explained Rousey. "After my last fight, one of the UFC owners flew in a private chef from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro so that he could make me hot wings, because there are no hot wings in Rio! That's how important they are to me."
While Rousey is happy to share, she needs a little bit of a head start before she lets everyone else tuck in - because she's so competitive.
"The thing is, you've got to let me eat a couple before anyone else has any, because otherwise I'll start eating faster," said Rousey. "It's a race to see who can eat the most. I'm so competitive, I even compete with hot wings."
Rousey will face Holly Holm in Melbourne, Australia on Nov. 14.
