Yair Rodriguez def. Daniel Hooker via unanimous decison
If it's a kick, Yair Rodriguez will throw it.
Despite suffering a reported broken foot against Daniel Hooker, Rodriguez unleashed some unorthodox, outlandish, and ultimately awesome kicks on an overmatched Hooker, who hung tough but was easily outpointed over the 15-minute affair.
Rodriguez threw kicks like that, and his foot ended up looking like this:
Albert Tumenov def. Alan Jouban via 1st-round TKO
Albert Tumenov is a bad, bad man.
In a nearly three minute display of sheer domination, Tumenov systematically broke down Alan Jouban, repeatedly using the fashion model's face for target practice before finally polishing him off with a massive torrent of strikes punctuated with a crushing left cross.
Terrifyingly, Tumenov is only 23-years-old. Welterweight division, you're officially on notice.
Adriano Martins def. Islam Makhachev via 1st-round KO
All it took was a perfectly-placed counter.
After the heavily-hyped Islam Makhachev stalked him around the cage for the better part of a minute and a half, Adriano Martins liquefied his Dagestani foe with a massive counter right hook, violently sending Makhachev on an unscheduled trip to the canvas.
Referee Frank Collazo dove in to make the save before Martins could land any coffin nails, and Makhachev was quick to dispute Collazo's decison.
Rose Namajunas def. Angela Hill via 1st-round submission (rear-naked choke)
Angela Hill let Rose Namajunas take her back. Big, big mistake.
Appearing in the Octagon for the first time since December of 2014, Namajunas violently knocked off the ring rust against Hill, as she locked in a standing rear-naked choke and cranked it until Hill lost consciousness and collapsed to the canvas.
Put. To. Sleep.
