Anthony Johnson vs. Jimi Manuwa booked for UFC 191
Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has a new opponent at UFC 191.
Originally scheduled to sling heavy leather with Jan Blachowicz, Johnson is now set to face Jimi Manuwa at the September pay-per-view in what promises to be an absolute firefight.
The No. 1-ranked light heavyweight contender, Johnson carries nuclear warheads in his fists and feet, recording brutal first-round stoppages over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Alexander Gustafsson before failing to capture the 205-pound crown against Daniel Cormier at UFC 187 in May.
The 35-year-old Manuwa is 4-1 in the UFC, and possesses the kind of power to violently end anyone's night in the light heavyweight division. In his last bout at UFC Fight Night 64 in April, Manuwa bested the aforementioned Blachowicz via unanimous decision.
Blachowicz will stay on the card, though his opponent hasn't been revealed.
