Ronda Rousey calls Cristiane 'Cyborg' Justino a 'cheating con artist'
Ronda Rousey can't seem to stay out of the spotlight.
After being featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated earlier Wednesday, Rousey made more headlines with an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show."
Stern asked Rousey if she was ducking Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino, the current Invicta featherweight champion.
"No, not at all," she replied, explaining that the two fighters have not crossed paths for several reasons, including the fact that they're in different weight classes.
She then proceeded to bash Justino and her alleged steroid use.
"She's very obviously been abusing performing-enhancing drugs for a very long time, to the point that her jaw line, her hands, and feet - everything - is just morphed by what she's done to her body. And I use the term 'her' lightly," Rousey remarked.
"I have to think about what sends the right message," she continued. "I'm not going to do backflips for a cheating con artist."
Even when Stern suggested Rousey would be able to beat Cyborg, regardless of her past, Rousey was adamant that Justino must follow proper fight protocols if she wants the bout.
"She would have to make 135, just like everybody else, and she would have to be clean, just like everybody else," Rousey told Stern. "And there's no reason why she should get a special set of rules just because she cheated for a long time and got a reputation."
