White says Rousey is the female version of Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson was once the baddest man on the planet - Ronda Rousey is easily the baddest woman right now.
After blowing through a very tough Cat Zingano 14 seconds into their UFC women's bantamweight title fight at UFC 184 on Saturday, UFC president Dana White saw all he needed in order to respond to a question about Rousey being the female version of Tyson.
"She is - without a doubt - that female version of him," said White. "I told her. We just talked about this. It got to a point with the Tyson thing where ... well, tonight. Let's talk about tonight."
"You guys have been around the fight game a long time," White explained to the media. "There's very few situations where a fight goes 14 seconds and the crowd is cheering and going crazy, looking at each other with their mouths open."
"Ronda is definitely there," White said. "That's exactly what she reminds me of. The answer is yes."
