Report: Zingano's base salary higher than Rousey's; Rousey can earn bigger PPV dollars
Ronda Rousey's base salary for UFC 184 is reportedly dwarfed by Cat Zingano's, but "Rowdy's" ability to collect a pay-per-view percentage could earn her more than $1 million, according to the Los Angeles Times' Lance Pugmire.
Rousey has developed into one of the UFC's most bankable stars, which is important for a promotion in desperate need of fighters with box office clout.
"She's the hugest superstar," White told reporters last year, according to Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole. "I'm going to go out and say she's the biggest star we've ever had."
