'King Mo' to face Cheick Kongo at Bellator 134

Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal isn't going to have to cut weight before his next trip to the cage.

Lawal is moving up to heavyweight to face UFC veteran Cheick Kongo at Bellator 134 on Feb. 27, Bellator president Scott Coker announced during an appearance on "The MMA Hour" on Tuesday.

Lawal has won two straight since dropping a controversial decision to Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at Bellator 120, picking up a pair of TKO victories over Dustin Jacoby and Joe Vedepo.

Kongo is riding a two-fight winning streak of his own, finishing Eric Smith via second-round TKO at Bellator 120, before submitting Lavar Johnson at Bellator 123.

Bellator 134 takes place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and features a light heavyweight title clash between Emanuel Newton and Liam McGeary as the main event.
