VIDEO: Kimbo Slice joins Bellator, talks fighting MMA again

Kimbo Slice officially joined Bellator MMA Saturday after reports that the former UFC heavyweight was going to sign with the promotion.

Slice appeared in an interview to talk about the signing during the broadcast of Bellator 132 on Friday. The 40-year-old talked about his 7-0 boxing record and how he couldn't resist the opportunity to fight on Spike TV.

Bellator MMA president Scott Coker says that while he thinks it'll be a little while before Slice returns to the cage, he already has plenty of opponents lining up to take their shot against the former YouTube street fighting superstar.

"Honestly, I probably had about 200 people call me last night saying, 'I'm ready to fight Kimbo Slice, put me with Kimbo Slice,'" Coker joked.

"We'll take our time," Coker said. "We don't even know when he's gonna be ready to fight. So we got some work to do to see what the target date will be. And then we'll go find an opponent that we think will be a lot of fun to watch and drive some big ratings."
