UFC 178: Johnson retains title with a demolition of Cariaso
As expected, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson ran an absolute MMA clinic on Chris Cariaso.
Johnson controlled the challenger for the entire opening frame, landing consistent and varied offense before drilling Cariaso with a big right hand and a brutal knee up the middle to close out the round.
Cariaso was overwhelmed early in the second round, falling victim to Mighty Mouse's stout wrestling and pace before nearly getting his arm ripped off by a vicious Kimura at 2:29.
Can't help but feel bad for Cariaso. He was way overmatched, but how could he say no to this? Like it was designed to hurt his feelings.

Johnson is 7-0-1 since dropping to flyweight, with his last loss coming at 135 pounds to former division kingpin Dominick Cruz at UFC Live 6 on Oct. 1, 2011.
