Emmett-Zalal added to UFC 320 main card
Featherweight contenders Josh Emmett and Youssef Zalal will square off on the UFC 320 main card Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the promotion announced Saturday.
Emmett is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Lerone Murphy in an April main event. The 40-year-old is 1-3 in his last four Octagon appearances, and his lone win during that stretch was a brutal knockout of Bryce Mitchell in December 2023. Emmett is ranked No. 8 in the division.
Zalal, a rising contender who's ranked No. 9, is riding a seven-fight winning streak. "The Moroccan Devil" most recently earned a unanimous decision over Calvin Kattar in February. Zalal, 28, returned to the UFC for a second stint last year and has since gone 4-0.
UFC 320 will feature a light heavyweight title rematch between champion Magomed Ankalaev and former champ Alex Pereira, as well as a bantamweight title bout between champion Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen.
