Report: De Ridder to face Holland at UFC 311
Reinier de Ridder's second Octagon appearance will come against veteran middleweight Kevin Holland at UFC 311 on Jan. 18 at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, sources told MMA Mania's Alexander Behunin on Tuesday.
De Ridder, a former ONE Championship two-division titleholder, made his UFC debut earlier this month, submitting Gerald Meerschaert in the third round.
The 34-year-old Dutchman signed with the promotion in September after a five-year career under the ONE banner, where he captured the 205-pound and 225-pound titles. De Ridder is riding a two-fight winning streak and went 2-1 overall in 2024.
Holland is coming off an injury TKO loss to Roman Dolidze at UFC 307 in October. "Trailblazer" is 1-1 since moving back to middleweight from welterweight and is 1-3 in his last four outings.
UFC 311 doesn't yet have a main event, though a lightweight title bout between champion Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan is rumored to be in the works to headline the card.
