Jackson to defend title vs. Kuramagomedov at Bellator Dublin

Lucas Noonan / Bellator MMA

Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson will defend his title against Ramazan Kuramagomedov in the main event of Bellator Champions Series Dublin on June 22 at 3Arena, the promotion announced Friday.

Jackson is coming off a second-round TKO win over Ray Cooper III in a catchweight non-title bout at the PFL vs. Bellator: Champs event in February in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. "The Ass-Kicking Machine" stunned Yaroslav Amosov in one of the biggest upsets of 2023 last November to become the 170-pound champ. Jackson has won eight in a row dating back to 2019.

Kuramagomedov is 2-0 after making his Bellator debut last June, with stoppages of Randall Wallace and Jaleel Willis. The undefeated Russian holds a 12-0 record as a pro.

Bellator Dublin will be the second Champions Series event since the PFL acquired Bellator in late 2023. No other fights have been announced for the card.
