Report: Luque, Dos Anjos agree to headline July 15 card

Vicente Luque and Rafael dos Anjos verbally agreed to meet in a welterweight main event at UFC Fight Night on July 15, sources told MMA Fighting's Damon Martin.

The reported card will likely take place in Las Vegas.

Luque is looking to get back on track after dropping his last two fights. He suffered a third-round knockout loss to Geoff Neal last August - the first knockout loss of his career - and fell short by unanimous decision to Belal Muhammad in April 2022.

Dos Anjos is coming off a submission win over Bryan Barberena last December and will attempt to return to the welterweight rankings against Luque. The former UFC lightweight champion bounced between 155 and 170 pounds in recent years but now appears committed to welterweight.
