Light heavyweights Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker agreed to fight in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card scheduled for May 13, reports Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.

Smith was set to face Jamahal Hill in March before the UFC pivoted to a title fight between Hill and Glover Teixeira at UFC 283. Hill dominated Teixeira en route to claiming his first UFC championship via unanimous decision.

After winning three of his last four fights to re-establish himself as a force at light heavyweight, Smith sits at No. 5 in the UFC rankings. His lone loss over that stretch came during his last fight in July when Magomed Ankalaev earned a TKO finish after Smith suffered a broken ankle.

Walker owns the No. 7 spot at 205 pounds after earning back-to-back wins over Paul Craig and Ion Cutelaba. The Brazilian won his first three UFC fights by first-round knockout after making his debut in 2018. However, Walker failed to live up to his early promise, going 1-4 over his next five matchups until his September win over Cutelaba.
