UFC 284 weigh-in results: Makhachev, Volkanovski cleared for superfight

Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski made weight Friday ahead of their champion-versus-champion clash scheduled for the UFC 284 main event Saturday in Perth, Australia.

Makhachev, the defending lightweight champion, weighed in at 155 pounds, while Volkanovski, the featherweight titleholder, tipped the scale at 154.5 pounds.

Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett were also on the mark ahead of their interim featherweight title fight in the co-main event. Both came in at 145 pounds.
