Joanna Jedrzejczyk will return to the Octagon on June 11 at UFC 275 against Zhang Weili in a rematch of their 2020 thriller, UFC official Hunter Campbell told ESPN's Marc Raimondi.

Though the fighters haven't received bout agreements yet, Jedrzejczyk and Zhang have both verbally agreed to the contest.

Jedrzejczyk, 34, has spent more than two years on the sidelines since an epic split-decision loss to Zhang, who was the women's strawweight champion at the time.

Zhang, 32, has dropped two straight since conquering Jedrzejczyk, losing back-to-back championship fights against Rose Namajunas. She defeated Jessica Andrade to win the belt in August 2019 and defended it once - against Jedrzejczyk - before relinquishing it.

Jedrzejczyk, a former strawweight champion in her own right, also lost the title to Namajunas. She previously defended the belt five times, making her the most decorated champion in the division's eight-year history.

UFC 275 will take place in Singapore. Light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira will headline the card against Jiri Prochazka, while women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will co-headline the event versus Taila Santos. Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori are also scheduled to meet in a middleweight matchup.
