Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and Sean Strickland verbally agreed to fight at UFC 268 on Nov. 6, sources told Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.

Rockhold hasn't fought since losing to Jan Blachowicz in July 2019 in his light heavyweight debut. He's currently on a two-fight losing streak, and he's lost three of his last four.

The 36-year-old recently said he wanted to fight a top-ranked middleweight, adding Khamzat Chimaev declined to fight him in August. Rockhold said Chimaev turned down the bout because he wants to compete in the welterweight division.

Meanwhile, Strickland is looking for another signature win. The 30-year-old, who's beat his last five opponents, defeated Uriah Hall by unanimous decision last month. He's currently the eighth-ranked middleweight.
