Valentina Shevchenko is set to defend her women's flyweight title against Jessica Andrade at UFC 261 on April 24, UFC president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Shevchenko is one of the most dominant champions in the promotion. She has defended her title four times since winning it against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in late 2018. Most recently, "Bullet" defeated Jennifer Maia by unanimous decision in November.

Andrade, a former strawweight titleholder, moved up to the 125-pound division in October and finished top contender Katlyn Chookagian via first-round TKO. The Brazilian snapped a two-fight skid - which included losses to current 115-pound champ Zhang Weili and Rose Namajunas - with the victory.

The UFC has not yet announced a location for the April 24 card. It is unclear whether Shevchenko-Andrade will serve as the main event.
