Report: Till-Vettori to headline April 10 UFC card
The UFC is finalizing a middleweight bout between Darren Till and Marvin Vettori to headline a UFC Fight Night event on April 10, sources told Brett Okamoto of ESPN.
The two fighters reportedly agreed to the bout, but contracts haven't been signed.
Till (18-3-1), a former welterweight title challenger, is coming off a loss to ex-middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in July after beating Kelvin Gastelum in his 186-pound debut in 2019.
The Englishman was booked to face Jack Hermansson in the Dec. 5 card's main event but withdrew due to a knee injury.
Vettori (16-3-1) stepped in to take on Hermansson and won via unanimous decision to earn his fourth straight victory.
Whittaker and former title challenger Paulo Costa will reportedly meet in the Fight Night card's main event scheduled a week after the Till-Vettori matchup.
Meanwhile, middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya moves up to light heavyweight to fight champion Jan Blachowicz on March 6.
