Anderson Silva's fight against Uriah Hall will mark his final walk to the cage, according to UFC president Dana White.

"Yes, it will be his last fight," White said Tuesday, according to MMA Junkie.

Hours before confirming Silva-Hall as the Oct. 31 card's main event last week, White said he believed Silva would fight once more, then retire. But White added that he was ultimately leaving that call up to the former middleweight champion.

"That's not our business," White said on Aug. 18, according to MMA Junkie's Nolan King and Ken Hathaway. "That's up to him. ... Let him do this the way he wants to do it."

Silva reportedly has two fights remaining on his current contract with the UFC. His team told ESPN's Brett Okamoto last week they weren't sure whether this would be the legend's last bout.

Silva, who's widely considered one of the greatest fighters of all time, is riding a two-fight skid and is 1-6 (1 NC) in his past eight matches. The Brazilian's most recent win came against Derek Brunson in 2017.
