I guess Jones is serious about moving to heavyweight for real.

There are too many fun, marketable fights at heavyweight for this man. Time to pay up, UFC. https://t.co/JatpAGDI4k

If a new light heavyweight champion is crowned that day, it will be the first time someone not named Jon Jones or Daniel Cormier will be the light heavyweight champion in 3,479 days. https://t.co/wD7p3SDuTV

Man, none of this would be happening if DC had fought Brock

Third time Jon Jones’ run as UFC light heavyweight champion has come to an end. Yet he’s never lost it inside the octagon. https://t.co/2HBHj4XmOE

My two cents on Jon Jones’ tweet:

He is closing the light heavyweight chapter of his career. He now spends a few months to add muscle and weight and moves up to heavyweight eventually. The question then becomes does he fight for the belt right away or a contender off the bat.
Wow. End of a very long, very historic era. https://t.co/YnPmo6130H

Ask yourself this: would Jon Jones, arguably the greatest fighter ever and someone who has held a belt for almost a decade straight, NOT fight for a title next?

I don't see it.
