UFC president Dana White was more than impressed by Conor McGregor's 40-second TKO of Donald Cerrone in the UFC 246 main event Saturday night in Las Vegas.

"I was blown away," White said at the post-fight press conference. "He looked unbelievable."

Despite the fact that Cerrone entered on a two-fight losing streak, White brushed off the notion that McGregor may have won due to the fact that "Cowboy" is past his prime.

"I know that there's always critics and there's always somebody who has an opinion. People are gonna say that Cowboy was shot, which is total bullshit," White said. "Conor McGregor came out, he looked fast, he hit hard, he had a gameplan, and he finished a real tough kid who came to win."

Ahead of his return, McGregor made it clear he wants to win titles at both 155 and 170 pounds. White initially shot down the idea of "The Notorious" continuing in the welterweight division after his bout versus Cerrone, but after seeing McGregor win in the fashion he did, White has changed his mind.

"You won't hear another peep out of me about (McGregor) fighting at 170," White said.

Saturday marked a return to the winner's circle for McGregor, as the 31-year-old hadn't posted a victory in the octagon since November 2016. The last time McGregor competed in the cage was his infamous loss to 155-pound champ Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018.

The Irishman plans to fight at least twice more in 2020 and is targeting a rematch against Nurmagomedov, as well as 170-pound bouts against champion Kamaru Usman and BMF titleholder Jorge Masvidal.
