Jones picks Reyes over Anderson: 'Beating his ass next'

Jon Jones has his sights set on his next victim.

The UFC light heavyweight champion tweeted Wednesday that after studying Dominick Reyes and Corey Anderson with his team, he wants to take on the "more dangerous fighter" in the undefeated Reyes.

Reyes has won all six of his fights since entering the UFC, most recently knocking out ex-middleweight champion Chris Weidman in the first round of their main-event bout in October.

Meanwhile, Anderson pushed himself into the title picture with a four-fight winning streak that culminated in a knockout victory over rising star Johnny Walker on Saturday at UFC 244.

Anderson hinted after the win that he could leave the UFC if he doesn't get a shot at the champion, though he later walked back that ultimatum and said he'd wait for the winner of Jones-Reyes, according to Adam Guillen Jr. of MMA Mania.

UFC president Dana White agrees that Jones - who hasn't fought since a split-decision win in July over Thiago Santos - should put his belt on the line against Reyes next.
