UFC featherweight contender Zabit Magomedsharipov was forced to pull out of the Boston Fight Night card Oct. 18 due to injury, sources told ESPN's Ariel Helwani, according to Marc Raimondi.
Magomedsharipov was scheduled to fight Calvin Kattar in the co-main event. The UFC is currently seeking a replacement for the bout, Raimondi adds.
Details of Magomedsharipov's injury have yet to be disclosed.
The 28-year-old is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jeremy Stephens at UFC 235 in March. Magomedsharipov is 5-0 since being signed by the promotion and hasn't lost a fight since 2013.
The Boston Fight Night card is headlined by a light heavyweight bout featuring former middleweight champion Chris Weidman and Dominick Reyes.
