Khabib-Poirier unification bout official after successful weigh-ins
The 155 lb king is ready to be crowned.
UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and interim titleholder Dustin Poirier both successfully made weight Friday ahead of their main-event clash Saturday at UFC 242, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Nurmagomedov was the first fighter to step onto the scale. The Russian has previously struggled with the lightweight limit, but hit 155 lbs exactly after shedding his clothes:

Poirier (25-1) was the second fighter to weigh in, and he also came in at championship weight for the unification bout.
The American earned his shot against the undefeated Nurmagomedov (27-0) by taking out featherweight champion Max Holloway to earn the interim belt in April.
Meanwhile, Nurmagomedov is returning to the Octagon for the first time since his ban for igniting a brawl following his dominant win over Conor McGregor in October 2018.
